This was being considered quite a while ago but was stopped by NIMBYs and lack of funds. I think many will be in support of this after seeing how packed the orange line gets nowadays. Metro really needs to push for another tax like measure J to get more projects started. Heavy rail subways are the best solution in crowded areas.... The red line at least as far as van nuys would definitely have enough ridership. Also the red line has the lowest operating costs because it has the most ridership and brings in the most ticket revenue.
